About the opportunity

The Senior Manager, Industrial Relations (Employee Payment Review) will provide technical advice and lead the project team responsible for the workplace relations aspects of an EPR project.

You will be responsible for the supervision of a dedicated project team and contribute to the strategic direction of the project. Furthermore, you will ensure that the broader workplace relations advisory team are kept informed of progress to assist with continuity of work in this space and ensure a culture of compliance and understanding.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

· Provide critical support to resolve operational and strategic workplace relations matters relating to the project

· Guide stakeholders in understanding and adhering to the enterprise agreement and associated policies, fostering a culture of compliance and respect

· Manage the performance and development of staff, including performance review, progressional development and career management, and;

· Provide technical advice on interpretation and application of an Enterprise Agreement and other legislation.

About you

· Experienced workplace relations/industrial relations practitioner

· Demonstrated experience leading a high performance team

· Previous experience interpretation and application advice whilst working in a complex regulatory and policy framework

· Excellent and persuasive communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and lead and facilitate discussions.
