The Australian Industry Group Lawyers (“Ai Group”), provide specialist workplace relations legal advice to business. As a legal arm of one of the most influential employer organisations nationally, we are a trusted adviser to our members.

About the Role
In this role you will engage directly with our members and will have a high degree of client interaction with some of Australia’s largest businesses on a wide range of complex workplace relations matters including termination of employment, general protections, equal employment opportunity, Award and Fair Work Act compliance, performance management, dispute resolution, enterprise bargaining (including drafting and negotiating enterprise agreements), workplace health and safety (WHS) incidents / issues, workers’ compensation issues, HR policies and employment contracts.

About You
To succeed in this busy and challenging role, you will be passionate about providing professional workplace relations advice and undertaking your own advocacy across a wide variety of industrial and employment law matters. You will possess sound analytical, writing and presentation skills and you will understand the key workplace relations issues that concern businesses of all sizes.

Legally qualified with workplace relations experience, you will understand the key workplace relations issues that concern businesses of all sizes. You are able to develop and maintain strong relationships with Ai Group members and other workplace relations stakeholders. MUST have a practicing certificate.
