Senior Employee Relations Advisor and Workplace Investigator

Role Type: Fixed-term (12 months), Full-time

This role involves managing ANZ's most complex ER work. It is our most senior ER case management role at ANZ. You will be required to have an advanced understanding of employment, discrimination and equal opportunity laws in Australia. You will understand the relationship between policies, employment contracts and our Enterprise Agreement.

We are looking for a strong and experienced workplace investigator. You will be managing the most complex investigations where there are allegations of bullying and sexual harassment. You will also be managing complex whistleblower matters.

You will also have experience in managing complex disciplinary matters. You will manage senior executive matters, ill health terminations, complex interpretations, and provide other general ER advice and support.

You will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy on your cases, whilst coaching your peers to succeed in the role.

The successful candidate will have excellent influencing, negotiation, coaching and stakeholder management skills.

You will have considerable experience in the practice of employment law or in an advisory role requiring specialist Employee Relations knowledge.
