Workplace Relations Lawyer (2+ years PQE)

FCW Lawyers is looking for a 2nd to 3rd year Workplace Relations lawyer, who has a passion for working for education, manufacturing and local government sector clients.

Working closely with our Melbourne Principal Lawyer, you will provide legal advice to clients across the practice areas of employment law, workplace health and safety law and workers' compensation.

You will have a passion for providing high-quality legal services and an interest in understanding the impact your legal contribution will make to the organisations we work with.

You will have strong legal research skills, drafting skills and a good technical knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, discrimination, privacy, occupational health and safety law, and workers' compensation.

Candidates must have:

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience within a workplace practice (under a skilled Principle)

• 2 years’ work experience post-admission

The role provides an excellent opportunity for you to develop your career in a busy practice.

Senior Associate level lawyers in the team will mentor, supervise and work with you to develop your capabilities and career.

The role is based in Melbourne, with the opportunity to travel to our Sydney office.
