About the role
This role is responsible for providing high quality consulting services, including verbal and written advice to Victorian Chamber members, customers and clients in all aspects of workplace relations and employment legislation, including conducting a range of training and information sessions. Our professional team delivers a range of fee for service consulting including modern award interpretation, wage and condition audits, workplace investigations, Fair Work Commission representation, enterprise agreement assistance, performance management and termination advice, and offer best practice solutions to solve complex issues.

About you
This role will suit someone seeking a challenging and diverse role with a passion for workplace relations. You will have tertiary qualifications in law, HR or IR (or equivalent industry experience) and have proven ability to develop and deliver quality training materials. Our ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• comprehensive knowledge of various workplace relations legislation, particularly modern awards
• experience in providing high-quality advice on HR/IR matters including complex wage audits
• preferably have experience in conducting workplace investigations
• strong advocacy experience in tribunal and/or court is highly desirable
• experience or in-depth understanding of negotiating enterprise agreements
• understand the Fair Work Commission’s processes and ideally have represented at the FWC and proven ability to write professional formal documents including policies, letters and reports
• demonstrated ability to build business relationships and actively seek business opportunities
