About the branch and role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated lawyer to join the VGSO as a Senior Solicitor in our WROS Branch.

The Workplace Relations and Occupational Safety (WROS) Branch enjoys an extraordinary diversity of exciting and challenging matters. The work can range from providing advice and conducting litigation in relation to all aspects of Victorian Public Sector occupational health and safety matters, employment, industrial relations, and discrimination law.

About the successful applicant
The ideal applicant should demonstrate experience providing sound judgement on complex workplace relations legal matters. You should be able to work in a team, collaborating with colleagues, but also have the ability to work autonomously. You will also have the aptitude to develop positive existing client relationships, establish new business opportunities and be willing to contribute to marketing initiatives. Although not essential, an understanding of the structure and culture of government would be beneficial.
