About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Workplace Relations Specialist to join the HR team, where you will work alongside a highly dedicated team of HR generalists and specialists who collaborate to deliver effective support to internal clients across UTS.

In this role, you will work closely with HR Partners and other colleagues to provide advice and coaching to managers and supervisors in the context of complex employment and workplace relations issues. As Workplace Relations Specialist, you will contribute to HR being “Great to do Business With” across UTS.

You will have a consultative approach, and by leveraging your experience, you will be able to provide advice across a broad range of workplace relations issues. With a solutions based mindset, you will be able to manage the competing priorities of casework in order to effectively deliver constructive solutions and outcomes. Ideally, you will have strong industrial relations and negotiation experience.

This position is full time and the appointment will be made on a continuing basis.

UTS provides very generous leave and other benefits including 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary, flexible work practices, and salary packaging opportunities. Due to COVID-19, we are currently working remotely.

Base Salary Range: $119,390 to $125,074 pa (HEW 9)
